INVITATION TO BID

Claiborne County Board of Education will be accepting sealed bids for one (1) 28 X 62 modular unit, six offices, conference room and two restrooms.

Bid submission should include shipping, freight, assembly, and turnkey installation costs. All vendors or contractors will be required to submit their DUNS/UEI information with bid documentation. All vendors or contractors must comply with the DAVIS BACON ACT and submit weekly payroll reports to the LEA.

Sealed Bids should be labeled “Modular” and mailed to the Claiborne County Board of Education, Attention: Dr. Meagan Carmack at 1403 Tazewell Rd, Tazewell TN, 37879. Bids will be accepted until Thursday, October 15, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., Bids will be publicly opened at 10:00 a.m. in the Board of Education conference room.

Oral, email, and/or telephone bids will not be accepted. Claiborne County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive all irregularities in the receipt/handling of bids.

The awarded bidder must be in good standing with the county of Claiborne. Claiborne County assures that no person shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex, as provided by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and as amended, and the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987 (P.I. 100.259) be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal Financial Assistance.
