ROAD SUPT INVITATION AND INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS BIDS 2026-2027

You are invited to bid on the following item(s).

Gas, Diesel, Tires, (pickup trucks, tractors, dump trucks, and heavy equipment-must be on specified form), Stone (bid must be on specified form), Guardrail (price per foot-bid must be on specified form), Road Striping (price per linear mile - bid must be on specified form), Asphalt (bids must be on specified form for asphalt) Rapid Seal (RS-2-oil for tar and chip), Tandem Truck Haul (bid must be on specified form), Culvert Pipe (Plastic only-bids must be on specified form for pipe), and Pipe End Wall Structures, Cattle guards and Blocks (36” x 48” x 60” End walls; 6’ x 2’ Retraining Wall Blocks), Concrete 3000 mix (per yard--delivered), Bridge Beams and Bridge Decking, Snow Plows (Salty Dog specific-Installed) Equipment needed (as backup) in the event of Storm Damage (Excavators, Dozers, Loaders, Boom Truck-bid must be on specified form). Bid forms and spec sheets may be picked up at Claiborne County Highway Department during the hours 7:00 a.m. thru 5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
We reserve the right to accept or refuse any or all bids based on quality and availability of product on an as needed daily basis per the operational needs of the Claiborne County Highway Department.

Bid opening will be Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at the Claiborne County Highway Department, 110 Blue Top Road, Tazewell, TN 37879.
