Mr. Stith had been a partner in another funeral home in Danville for several years and in 1926 he sold his interest in that establishment and founded Stith Funeral Home. Today the Stith Funeral Home is owned by Jack Brown Stith's daughter and son-in-law, Robert and Mary Stith Hamlin.
